- I have spent all my money. I do not have any money now.
- I have broken my leg last week, so I can not go to work.
- My car had been in a accident, so now I have to take the bus.
- Mary has gone out. She is not home now.
An action that started in the past, and still happening at the time of speaking.
- I have played football for many years.
- We have not been to New York.
- Have you worked in the hospital for a long time?
- He has seen the move many times.
