Commas With Interrupters
Interrupters - are used in the middle of a sentence to show emotions, tones or emphasis
A comma is used before the interrupter, and a comma is used after the interrupter.
- Why, Mary, do you want to come with us?
- Tommy, cried, when he could not go to the movies.
- Girls, who are smart, like to study English.
- My boss, a very smart man, one first place in the context.
- My homework, honestly, got wet from the rain.
- Why, Sam, do you always come in late?
