A Lemon - something you buy that is defective; does not work well or breaks a lot (usually refers to a car or truck)
- The car I bought is a lemon. This is the second time my car broke down this month.
- My friend's car is a lemon. She always has to fix her car.
- Do you think I can get my money back for my car? My car is a lemon.
- My car is not a lemon. My car never breaks down.
- When you buy a used car always get an inspection, so you do not buy a lemon.
