Adjective With Verbs
Adjectives can be used after some verbs such as be, look, smell, get, become, seem, sound, appear, taste, feel, etc.
- The cake smells good.
- It is it getting late.
- The dress looks nice.
- The food tastes good.
- The clothes feel wet.
- The flowers smell good.
- The food tastes bad
- The trip sounds boring.
- That lecture does not sound interesting.
- The idea does not seem reasonable.
Note: Adjectives describe the subject that is performing the action. Adjective do not describe the verb.
