Recount - when an election is very close, and they want to count the votes a 2nd time

  • We can ask for a recount, if the elections are very close in some areas.
  • There is not always a clear winner, so we need a recount.
  • Our school elections are very very close. There is a difference of only ten votes. We are going to ask a recount.
  • The city elections are not very close, so there is not reason for a recount.
  • We lost the elections, but only by a few votes. They did a recount twice times.
