Boring - not having interest in something or someone
- My homework is boring.
- Do you think English is boring?
- There is so much to do in New York. New York is never boring.
- I love to travel. Traveling is never boring.
Dull - not exciting or interesting
- This job is so dull, because all we have to do is sit here.
- That book sounds so dull.
- That food is very dull. The food has no taste.
- I have to take some very dull classes in university.
Note: Dull & Boring are interchangeable; sometimes both dull and boring can mean the same thing
