Job a noun – a specific task; a talk that someone gets money for doing

  • Did you get a new job?
  • My sister has a high paying job.
  • Our teacher has a very hard job.
  • Do you like your job?
  • I want to learn English, so I can get a good job.

Note: the word work many times be used interchangeably with job. .

Worka noun or verb – a general task; can mean a general activities

  • I have a lot of work to do at home.
  • You need to work hard in school.
  • Do you want to work for your father, in his store?
  • My brother is always late for work.
  • We must work to must money,

Note: Work does not always mean job; something can be work but not a job.
