words when proofreading and editing.

Print out a hard copy of your document.

Read out load slowly; make sure there are no words missing.

It is a good idea when reading each word point to it with
a pen.

Start reading your document from the last sentence to the
first, read your document backwards. This way it will be easier to recognize
any missing or double words.

Read it out loud to someone else.

Read it out loud slowly and record your self. Listen to
your recording.
